Summer Lovin' Giveaway!

I was recently introduced to a local designer named Jessica ("Ru") Galbreath, of Ru Fabricates. I loved her line of HANDMADE handbags so much that I featured her in my column. As a thank you, the lovely designer has teamed up with Ash Hearts Fash in hosting my Summer Lovin' Giveaway!

The giveaway begins today and runs through July 1st. To be in the running for your very own Ru Wristlet in Graceful Vine, all you have to do is FOLLOW my blog (through Google Friend Connect on the lower right hand side of my blog), and then let me know where and when you purchased your FAVORITE handbag by placing a comment on this post! On July 1st I will be picking a winner through random.org, and will contact the lucky reader directly.

Can't wait to see which one of my readers has "got this in the bag"! Good luck, and as always, thanks for your continued support! ♥

  1. I am no fashionista by any means nor a purse diva. But my fav is a Beijo purse that I purchased at a house party. Love it. It comes out on rare occasions when I decide to don my fashion side.

  3. My personal fav (which I never use anymore) would be an old 70's corduroy bag i've had since high school. It's all worn down now but very cute!

  4. I really love the small handbags....I always end up carrying them inside a larger bag! I'm
never statisfied with the limited amount that they hold???

  6. I simply adore my quilted black velvet Vera Bradley bag! I bought it at a Vera Bradley store in the Indianapolis airport when I was on my way to visit my honey in Florida for Valentine's Day last year... <3 I think of him every time I use it...

  7. I don't have a lot of different handbags, but there is one I bought at Target a few years ago that always gets compliments. It's not too fancy, just a simple fake leather satchel in the prettiest shade of aqua/teal/light turquoise. It also holds a ton of stuff.

  9. I don't have many everyday bags, because I hate having to put all my things from one bag into another, but I weakness for evening bags instead:) My favorite one is actually one of my cheapest ones, I bought it for an India-themed New Year's party. It's all embroidered in golden sequins- very sparkling, I just love it:)

  10. Never have I been a big bag person. I was military and learned to utilize my pockets via the guys. :-) Later I met a wonderful woman who showed me how to be a lady. One of the things she MADE me buy was a ..... yes... handbag. LOVED IT! Absolutely loved it. Although she neglected to tell me when the purse starts to fall apart, throw it away and buy a new one! It was a black, short strapped coach purse with silver buckles that lies deep in the closet for a reminder of me being a woman!

  24. my favorite purse is my black leather coach purse. there's two things i love most about it. The first one is that my boyfriend, Brad, bought it for me as a gift. He was at the store alone and they were having a big sale that day. One of the employees approached him to help...Brad saw a sign that said 75% off and the lady honored the discount!
The second, is wearing this expensive purse while knowing that i we got a great bargain price!

  25. I purchased my favorite purse from some boutique in the Highlands that does not exist anymore. It was a long rectangular purse made by Maruca in Boulder in a beautiful pattern that worked for day, night, fancy, or casual. The best part about that purchase (as if it could get any better than that fabulous purse) was that it was 60% off! It was stolen last summer in SF and it broke my heart! - Laura H.

  28. My favorite purse is a RU Fabricates purse that I just got 2 weeks ago. It is the Hobo in Pink Flowers, but Jessica (the designer) gave it more sophisticated look by replacing the twisted fabric handles with recycled leather handles- BEAUTIFUL! I have gotten so many compliments on how pretty it is, but I love the fact that it's light weight, well made, and practical- it has 3 pockets that make organizing a snap. I will definitely be following Jessica Miller-Galbreath and Ru Fabricates to see anything new that she creates!
